Specific objectives for the purpose of enhancing the quality, management, marketing and profitability of members include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Developing programs to assist members to better manage and improve their firms on a continuing basis.
- Assisting members in maintaining their competence in accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services.
- Encouraging members to observe the highest professional standards in all phases of practice.
- Assisting members in achieving maximum efficiency in organizing and administering their firms.
- Expanding the markets and capabilities of members throughout the world.
- Increasing member involvement in a broad range of professional activities to contribute to the advancement of the accounting profession and to unify and strengthen the voice of member firms in the profession.
- Assisting in recruiting, retaining and training professional staffs and providing programs to aid staff members in realizing their full potential in professional advancement.
- Providing a reservoir of specialists immediately available to members to assist them in serving their clients to the fullest extent possible.
- Providing a means to share skills, specialized knowledge and experience with other members.
- Increasing awareness in the profession, the business community and the public of the capability, competence and quality of service provided International members in all phases of their practices.
